In 2002, Jennifer traded her scissors for Xacto knives and entered the design program at the University of Notre Dame. Though her parents' favorite
preschool projects of hers bore striking resemblance to her
early work at ND, she cut squares diligently while waiting for the
cool stuff. Becoming a designer meant, among other things, rejecting Comic Sans and linen paper, interrupting meaningful conversations to point out misused typefaces, and struggling with an online world that insists her graphics be reduced to 6k. And it meant/means/will always mean solving problems.
